About the Role
Bogart Associates is seeking a talented Level 2 Information Systems Security Officer to join our growing team. In this position, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and implementing information security standards, procedures, and guidelines for applications and databases. Your primary mission is to ensure that systems and organizational databases are protected from unauthorized access and use while actively monitoring systems, identifying threats, and managing disaster recovery operations.
You will serve as a subject matter expert, contributing to and potentially leading the planning and implementation of large-scale programs. This role requires regular interaction with senior management and executive leadership to support overall functional strategic planning. You will assist in implementing required government policies, such as NISPOM and DCID 6/3, and provide recommendations on process tailoring to meet specific operational needs.
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates with an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph are encouraged to apply. Please note that a DOD 8570 IAT Level II Professional Certification is required; however, this certification must be obtained within six months of the position start date if not already held.
