Join Arcfield's rapidly expanding team of Cyber professionals. We are seeking talented Mid-level Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) to provide critical Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for a prestigious National customer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and resilience of mission-critical systems, including terrestrial, space, and SCADA/ICS environments.
Note: An offer for this position is contingent upon contract award.
In this position, you will serve as a bridge between technical security engineering and government program objectives. You will partner with leads, subject matter experts, and Government representatives to align security efforts with agency goals. Your day-to-day involves assessing potential security risks, identifying vulnerabilities in IT systems and hardware, and recommending mitigation actions that support Government decision-making.
You will contribute to the design and implementation of secure architectures, ensuring systems remain safe from attackers while navigating complex challenges in mission-critical operations. A significant portion of the role involves preparing and updating essential security documentation, such as RMF documents, and supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes. You will also participate in working groups and reviews to standardize risk management processes and ensure compliance with NIST, RMF, and industry best practices.
