About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Analyst to serve as a key resource on our technical services team. In this capacity, you will assist the TxDOT Information Security Risk Management team in executing critical risk management efforts. Your work will involve contract reviews, software and hardware evaluations, and the creation of system security plans.
You will be responsible for conducting security and risk assessments, collaborating with custodians to resolve remediation plans, and monitoring systems to protect data from unauthorized access. This role requires planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures using the NIST Risk Management Framework and Texas security standards. You will operate with minimal supervision, exercising extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgment to safeguard computer configurations and data files against accidental or unauthorized modification.
