About the Role
As a Security Assessor, you will be the guardian of our information systems and software applications, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and strict compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is critical for evaluating the effectiveness of our security measures and controls.
You will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify vulnerabilities and security risks, working closely with IT and development teams to recommend and validate remediation strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management frameworks, with the unique ability to communicate complex security information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field
- verified3-5 years experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or security assessment/auditing
- verifiedStrong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, operating systems, and web application security
- verifiedIn-depth understanding of NIST 800-series, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks
- verifiedProficiency in Nessus, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP
Nice to Have
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
