Quality Process Services (QPS) is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Construction Electrician to join our team on dynamic projects. This role is critical for installing and maintaining complex electrical systems within industrial environments, including manufacturing facilities, refineries, power plants, and large-scale construction sites.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting where precision and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. You will be responsible for translating blueprints and schematics into functional electrical infrastructure, ensuring all installations comply with NEC standards and local codes. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInstall electrical systems, conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, switchgear, motors, and control systems
- check_circleRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and specifications
- check_circleBend and install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit
- check_circlePull wire and terminate electrical connections according to project specifications
- check_circleInstall motor controls, PLC-related components, and industrial equipment
- check_circleEnsure all work complies with NEC standards, local codes, and company safety policies
- check_circleOperate power tools, lifts, and testing equipment safely and efficiently
- check_circleCoordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site
- check_circleMaintain a clean and organized work area
- check_circleComplete daily reports and documentation as required
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED
- verifiedCompletion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred
- verified3+ years of industrial electrical construction experience preferred
- verifiedKnowledge of NEC code and industrial electrical systems
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- verifiedExperience with motor controls, MCCs, industrial lighting systems, conduit installation, and wire pulling
- verifiedValid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program. 3+ years of industrial electrical construction experience. Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems. Experience with industrial automation systems.
