As an Industrial Shift Mechanical Technician in Blair, Nebraska, you will be a critical part of our team, working in a safety-conscious environment where "Safety First" is the guiding principle. This role is designed for a self-starter who can work without supervision to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on complex industrial equipment, including pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, and power transmissions.
You will be expected to formulate preventive maintenance standards and provide feedback on service delivery discrepancies. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge facility with comprehensive training, allowing you to grow your skills in a team-oriented culture. You will utilize a wide range of tools and heavy industrial equipment, from hand grinders and welding torches to forklifts and scissor lifts, often working in elevated areas or environments exposed to moving mechanical parts and varying weather conditions.
