A well-established manufacturing company is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support operations at our Rancho Dominguez facility. This is a great opportunity to join a stable organization and contribute to maintaining high-performing production equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical equipment and systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining production uptime through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMaintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment
- check_circleDiagnose and repair issues with motors, control systems, and PLCs
- check_circleRead, interpret, and create electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
- check_circleEnsure compliance with safety standards and National Electrical Code requirements
- check_circleSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
- check_circleInstall, replace, and upgrade electrical components such as relays, sensors, and wiring
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED required
- verifiedMinimum 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- verifiedTechnical school training or apprenticeship in a skilled trade preferred
- verifiedKnowledge of 480 VAC, 277 VAC, 120 VAC controls, and 24 VDC controls
- verifiedExperience with 3-phase motors and motor control circuits
- verifiedExperience with PLCs and frequency drives (VFDs)
- verifiedAbility to troubleshoot industrial control systems
- verifiedExperience reading and developing electrical schematics and ladder logic
Nice to Have
Technical school training or apprenticeship in a skilled trade. Prior leadership or team lead experience.
