Engineering Services is seeking a highly skilled Communications Engineer to lead the development and implementation of next-generation telecommunications systems. This role is critical for evolving our industrial communications infrastructure, with a specific focus on radio communications (particularly the 450MHz range), satellite, 5G, 6G, and future evolutions.
As a technical expert and representative for the company, you will provide professional advice and deep technical expertise to cross-functional teams, including Instrumentations and Controls engineers, operating sites, facility planning, and project management. Your work will ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems while acting as the primary point of contact for vendors, manufacturers, and design firms.
The day-to-day involves designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex communications systems, originating engineering studies to solve technical problems, and evaluating new technologies to achieve "Best in Class" performance. You will also play a key role in knowledge sharing by delivering technical courses to young talent, publishing papers for peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at international technical exchange meetings. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and may involve travel to different sites within Saudi Arabia.
