Person County Department of Social Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Department of Social Services as an Income Maintenance Caseworker II (IMC II). This position plays a vital role in supporting our community and is assigned to either the Medicaid or Food & Nutrition Services Unit within the Income Maintenance Program.
The mission of this unit is to ensure accurate administration of program policies while helping individuals and families access essential benefits that promote health, stability, and well-being.

Hiring Process
Person County conducts pre-employment screening on candidates. Job offers are conditional pending the following:

- Additional screening and testing required for some positions.
