The IAM QA Analyst III serves as a critical bridge between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the integrity and compliance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms. Operating under limited supervision, this role is dedicated to the IAM Identity Governance and Access Control pattern, focusing on the security, testing, and optimization of enterprise applications and databases.
In this position, you will function as a liaison between engineers and business customers, translating complex IAM use cases into actionable processes. The role involves a blend of functional support, rigorous QA testing, and proactive risk analysis. You will be responsible for the onboarding of applications into SailPoint IIQ, ensuring that all configurations align with Audit, Compliance, and Cyber policies. Beyond testing, you will conduct audit walk-throughs, research audit inquiries, and perform preventative analysis to identify potential risks within IAM platforms.
Your day-to-day activities will include gathering business requirements, managing access reviews, and performing root cause analysis on quantitative and qualitative findings. You will work independently to capture IAM use cases, define processes, and manage the backlog to ensure product delivery commitments are met. This role requires a deep understanding of how business processes relate to supported applications, ensuring that identity management, least privileged access, and role-based access controls are effectively implemented and maintained.
