As a Hydro Communications Technician at the Merwin Dam in Ariel, Washington, you will serve as a supervising employee responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of all company communication, supervisory control telemetering, and data acquisition equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the operational integrity of our hydro facilities.
In this position, you will manage a dedicated communications shop, overseeing vehicles, tools, test equipment, spare parts, and supplies provided by the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing reports, records, and equipment recommendations incidental to your work, ensuring that all systems function reliably in a 100% onsite environment.
