We are looking for a Community Relations Manager to join our team and help execute a community relations plan to engage and attract interest in Mosaic's mission and services through friendship and fundraising.
This role is designed for a people person who is a skilled communicator, able to easily navigate conversations with volunteers and donors alike to convey Mosaic's values and mission in a way that inspires others. You will be a go-getter who naturally brings intensity and energy to recruit, motivate, and support Mosaic's fundraising efforts.
As a stand-out collaborator, you will enjoy meeting new people and forming solid, genuine, and mutually rewarding relationships that promote awareness and secure donors passionate about our mission. You will maintain these relationships through ongoing education and cultivation. Even though community relations is challenging work, you will keep your eye on the "bigger picture" impact it will have.
In this hybrid position, you will coordinate and execute a community awareness plan involving building partnerships and sharing stories to support and advance Mosaic's mission. You will nurture donor relationships, solicit gifts, and cultivate church-related activities to enhance awareness and establish contacts throughout the local faith community. Additionally, you will build and execute targeted community awareness campaigns, collaborate with national office support teams on grant proposals, and manage social media platforms to maintain an active presence.
This is a hybrid, salaried position. Days and hours will vary based on the needs of the agency, event planning, and travel requirements as needed.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position. Previous experience with grant writing and volunteer management is helpful.
