As a Level II HVAC Technician at Six Flags, you will be the backbone of our parks' climate control systems, ensuring a comfortable experience for millions of guests. This role is designed for a skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the unique demands of the park season.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for HVAC maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting throughout the facility. Your day-to-day involves diagnosing complex issues with air conditioning and heating systems, managing ductwork, and ensuring the safe operation of critical equipment like chillers, cooling towers, and refrigeration units. Beyond technical maintenance, you will interact with park staff, vendors, and guests, providing clear explanations of technical issues and upholding our high standards of guest service.
Our parks rely on seamless operations to create unforgettable memories. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction by maintaining optimal temperatures and air quality in everything from ride queues to food preparation areas. You will play a vital role in the park's infrastructure, performing major overhauls, implementing safety upgrades, and ensuring strict compliance with EPA and AQMD regulations regarding refrigerants and chemicals.
Joining our maintenance team means becoming part of a culture that values its workforce. We celebrate our team with a yearly maintenance appreciation week and offer free entry to all our parks and water parks. You will also enjoy perks such as complimentary tickets for friends and family, discounts on food and merchandise, and access to maintenance-specific scholarships to further your career.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by our recruitment team. Please note that responsibilities and specific requirements may vary by location.
