The M&E HRSG Field Engineer serves as a critical link between engineering design and on-site execution, overseeing the installation and commissioning of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) at customer sites. This role is designed to ensure that complex industrial projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and environmental compliance.
In this position, you will manage site mobilization, civil works, and the erection of HRSG components, including piping and auxiliary systems. The role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership, as you will interpret complex drawings, validate welding procedures, and oversee hydrotests and performance runs. While you will operate with a degree of autonomy, you will frequently collaborate with GE Vernova engineering teams to resolve technical deviations and support the resolution of site interferences across multiple disciplines.
This is a remote position with a requirement to travel up to 100% of the time to customer sites. The role demands adaptability to evolving project requirements and environmental conditions, often working in diverse, multicultural environments. Success in this role requires the ability to lead teams with confidence and foster collaboration to achieve common goals under challenging field conditions.
