About the Role
Based at the Hampton Inn Chandler, the Housekeeping Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of guest satisfaction that define our brand. This position is responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions within assigned sections, serving as the operational leader in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.
In this role, you will ensure that every aspect of the guest experience is seamless. Your day involves inspecting room attendants' work to maintain productivity and quality standards, overseeing the closing of floors, and managing the cleanliness of work areas like linen closets and stairways. You will act as a vital communication link between Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering, handling VIP room inspections, reporting on out-of-order rooms, and initiating maintenance work orders. Beyond operations, you will assist in training staff and may be required to clean rooms as business needs dictate, ensuring the team remains agile and responsive to guest needs.
