Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. Our mission is driven by the core belief: "Your Health, Our Passion!" We are committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and healing environment for our patients, families, and staff.
As a Housekeeper, you will be the backbone of our facility's hygiene and safety standards. Your day will involve performing daily cleaning and restocking of soap and paper products across a variety of locations, including patient rooms, nursing stations, waiting areas, offices, lounges, corridors, and restrooms. You will utilize specialized cleaning devices such as dust mops, wet mops, vacuum cleaners, buffers, and carpet machines to ensure every area meets our high standards. This role is essential to the effective operation of the department and the overall well-being of those we serve.
This is a full-time position with a standard shift from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The role requires participation in a weekend and holiday rotation, and flexibility to work other hours as needed to support the department's operational needs.
Qualified candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, and applicants must demonstrate the ability to safely operate all required equipment and possess knowledge of proper chemical usage.
