Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSuggestively sells hotel rooms and issues room keys to guests
- check_circleEnsures guest safety by following security and fire procedures
- check_circleChecks out guests accurately and communicates departures to housekeeping
- check_circleRoutes internal and external phone calls in an articulate and friendly manner
- check_circleMaintains cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby and front desk area
- check_circleRecords and communicates guest special requests to appropriate departments
- check_circlePosts charges for rooms, food, and services to guest ledgers
- check_circleMaintains shift-to-shift logs to ensure proper communication between shifts
- check_circleGreets guests, registers them, and assigns rooms in a friendly manner
- check_circleComputes bills, collects payments, and makes deposits per cash handling procedures
- check_circleDeposits guests' valuables in hotel safes or safe deposit boxes
- check_circleMakes, confirms, and cancels reservations via phone, computer, and writing
