Founded in 2021, VitalCaring has grown into a leading provider of home health and hospice services, with over 100 locations across the country. We are committed to fostering a culture of support, growth, and excellence for our team, which serves as the backbone of how we ensure we deliver exceptional patient care.
As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be the bridge between our compassionate care team and the community members who wish to serve. Your mission is to develop and maintain a robust volunteer training and orientation program that empowers individuals to make a meaningful impact on patients and families navigating their healthcare journey with dignity.
In this role, you will not only recruit and select volunteers but also establish the vital need for volunteer services within the patient, family, and entire hospice team. You will supervise and evaluate volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to meet both patient and organizational needs. Your day will involve coordinating support and education meetings, attending interdisciplinary group meetings, and actively participating in quality assessment and performance improvement teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate statistics and personnel files while reevaluating the volunteer program as necessary to ensure it remains effective and aligned with our hospice philosophy.
We offer a supportive environment where you can thrive. As a full-time team member, you will enjoy the stability of a consistent role with the freedom to manage personal commitments. Our culture is built on the belief that our team members should have the time and space to prioritize what matters most at home, supported by generous benefits including 6 weeks of paid time off, comprehensive health coverage, and opportunities for career growth through advanced training and mentorship.
Join VitalCaring Group and experience a company that invests in you every step of the way. We invite you to apply and become part of a team dedicated to changing lives through compassionate care.
