About the Role
Find your passion and purpose as an After Hours Registered Nurse in Hospice. This role is designed for those who thrive in a community that cares deeply for patients and each other. You will join a team committed to consistently providing exceptional care, supporting patients and families in Hinds, Madison, Rankin Counties, and surrounding areas of Mississippi.\n As an After Hours RN, you will be the bridge during critical times, responding to triage calls, performing visits and assessments, and coordinating care with the Administrator On Call. Whether participating in admissions, care transitions, or on-call rotations, you will ensure that patients receive the compassionate support they need outside of standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- check_circleCollaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the Interdisciplinary Group to evaluate care
- check_circleMaintain timely and accurate documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements
- check_circleProvide education and emotional support to patients and caregivers based on individual needs
- check_circleCoordinate care transitions and participate in IDG meetings and family conferences
- check_circleRespond to triage calls and perform on-call visits and assessments for admitted patients
- check_circleSupervise LPNs, LVNs, and Hospice Aides while managing medication and scheduling if serving as Care Manager
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Registered Nurse licensure in applicable state
- verifiedAssociate degree preferred
- verifiedCPR certification recommended
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedState-required liability auto insurance
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- verifiedProficiency in EMR systems
