About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HIM Field Coder to support our Long-Term Care (LTC), home health, and hospice facilities. In this role, you will serve as a critical resource for accurate ICD coding, ensuring timely reporting to facility staff and senior leadership. You will work directly with practitioners and staff to improve documentation quality and coding processes, while also assisting in the training of team members on coding standards.
Location & Requirements
This is a full-time position located in North Carolina. Candidates must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.

Liberty Health is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: High school graduate; Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT); AHIMA Certification required; Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding; 1-3 years of relevant coding experience in LTC and/or home health and hospice setting preferred; and Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations preferred.
