The Department of Medicine and the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center are seeking a dynamic Section Director of Hematology Oncology to lead, grow, and innovate within our cancer program. As one of the largest and most respected hospitals in the Mid-Atlantic, we are affiliated with the only NCI-designated cancer center in Washington, D.C.
This is a rare opportunity to build on a strong clinical foundation while advancing a bold vision for equitable, high-impact cancer care across the region. The Section Director will work clinically at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a 912-bed academic medical center, and benefit from strong support including advanced practice providers, research staff, and administrative resources. The position also includes an academic appointment at Georgetown University and an opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming cancer care throughout the region.
