About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented team player for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator position. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a predominately outdoor environment and value opportunities for growth and development. You will function within a team-oriented culture while maintaining the ability to work independently. Success in this position requires a strong prioritization of safety and time management, along with a coachable attitude and an eagerness to learn.
What to Expect
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, your day will involve strategically operating heavy machinery and performing daily preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance. You will identify waste types for materials processing, direct on-site truck traffic, and maintain consistent communication via two-way radios and hand signals. The role demands that all tasks be executed in a safe and timely manner, while also providing excellent customer service and maintaining the general cleanliness of the facility.

If you have experience in the waste industry and are familiar with equipment such as the Volvo EC240BLC High Top Excavator, Front End Articulating Loader, Komatsu 270/320/380, or John Deere 190 DW, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for individuals capable of standing and walking for significant portions of their shift, lifting 50-75 lbs, and maintaining constant awareness of peripheral safety hazards.
