At GF, we are a team dedicated to building community through meaningful work. We bring together diverse talents and backgrounds to create an environment where fresh ideas are explored and new challenges are navigated. Our culture is built on the belief that growth, balance, and job satisfaction go hand in hand.
As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, we pride ourselves on offering every team member a stake in our success, fostering a culture of shared goals and achievements. The Healthcare Project Architect is the driving force behind the day-to-day execution, coordination, and delivery of architectural projects within healthcare environments. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role oversees the entire project lifecycle, from initial design concepts through construction documentation, contract administration, and final closeout.
This position is critical for ensuring that healthcare facilities are delivered with the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. You will lead the coordination of complex building systems and manage project documentation, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every aspect of the project aligns with design intent, operational needs, and specialized healthcare standards.
In this role, you will apply deep knowledge of healthcare facility design, including patient care environments and the integration of specialized building systems. You will be expected to maintain a high level of organization and technical expertise, ensuring that designs support patient safety, staff efficiency, and compliance with industry guidelines. While the role involves providing direction to project team members and consultants, it focuses on execution and coordination rather than direct supervisory responsibilities.
We offer an environment where you can contribute and grow your career without limits. Our commitment to work-life integration is evident in our 4½-day workweek, flexible schedules, half-day Fridays, and paid parental leave. We prioritize the well-being of our team through comprehensive health and wellness support, including medical, dental, and vision plans, along with generous contributions to health savings accounts and mental health counseling.
Professional development is ingrained in our culture. We provide tuition reimbursement, paid memberships to professional organizations, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership training. Whether you aspire to upward advancement or seek horizontal growth through expanded responsibilities, we are committed to helping you remain engaged, challenged, and professionally fulfilled.
To apply, please submit your resume and relevant portfolio materials. Employment with GF is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, reference check, and/or drug screening, consistent with applicable laws. We also participate in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
