About the Role

The Healthcare Billing Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of Redwood Terrace in Escondido, California. This position ensures the accurate, timely filing, collection, and management of all private pay billing activities. You will manage insurance co-pays, prepare and submit invoices, monitor account balances, and follow up on outstanding payments with residents and responsible family members.

Beyond the numbers, you will be the bridge between the facility's financial health and the community it serves. By resolving billing inquiries with professionalism and responsiveness, you help maintain positive customer relationships while adhering to established guidelines, regulations, and compliance standards. This is an on-site, full-time role working Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleMonitor account balances and manage insurance co-pays

Requirements

  • verifiedHigh school graduate or equivalent
  • verifiedMinimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • verifiedSkilled Nursing Billing/AR experience
  • verifiedStrong working knowledge of Medicaid and compliance regulations
  • verifiedComputer literate with knowledge of EHR, word processing, spreadsheet software
  • verifiedExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
