UC Health is seeking a Part-Time Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Night Shift in the Emergency Department at West Chester Hospital. This role serves as the vital communication link and clerical backbone for the clinical team, ensuring the smooth daily operation of patient care from admission to discharge. You will be responsible for the accurate transcription of physician orders, maintaining comprehensive medical records, and facilitating information flow between patients, families, physicians, and various hospital departments.
Working in a high-energy environment, you will act as a resource for the unit, managing patient call lights, coordinating diagnostic tests, and ensuring all clerical activities are completed with precision. This position requires a self-starter who can multitask effectively during periods of high stress while maintaining a positive, supportive attitude for everyone you interact with.
