About the Team
We are the Adult Medical-Surgical Oncology Inpatient Care Unit at OHSU, Oregon's only public academic health center. Our unit brings together specialized teams in Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, General Surgery, Bone Marrow Transplant, Neurological Oncology, Otolaryngology, Gynecology Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. We collaborate closely with physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietitians, pharmacy, social work, case management, speech and language pathologists, and other multidisciplinary members to provide exceptional, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleCoordinate patient transportation and schedule procedures
- check_circleCommunicate with home health and equipment suppliers to arrange services
- check_circleAudit compliance with infection control and isolation measures
- check_circleSupport wireless communication device administration and user tracking
- check_circleProvide first-line support for integrated health record systems
- check_circleParticipate in performance improvement and quality data collection activities
- check_circleMaintain unit census documents, logs, and filing systems
Requirements
