The Health Unit Coordinator - Birthing Center serves as the primary receptionist for the nursing unit, acting as the central hub for communication among nursing staff, physicians, other departments, professional staff, patients, and families. The role involves interpretation, transcription, and assistance in the implementation of orders for all aspects of patient care. Additionally, the coordinator maintains adequate supplies for the nursing unit and may request service for the maintenance of unit equipment.
Candidates must be available the first week of employment from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for CNA orientation.
