A well-established law firm with a strong healthcare practice is seeking a Health Law / Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its Kansas City office. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who enjoys complex litigation, values client relationships, and is looking for long-term professional growth within a collaborative environment.
You will defend physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems, and other providers in medical malpractice matters, handling all phases of litigation from case strategy and discovery to depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Beyond the courtroom, you will advise healthcare clients on risk management and regulatory-adjacent issues tied to litigation. The position offers meaningful responsibility, including the opportunity to mentor associates for counsel-level candidates, while serving as a key point of contact for clients alongside partners and junior attorneys.
