Head of Management Accounts

About the Role

As the leader of the Management Accounts function, you will oversee the full month-end close process to deliver accurate and timely reporting. This role is pivotal in driving strategic decision-making through performance and variance analysis, while managing the consolidation of the UK P&L for management reporting. You will ensure the integrity of balance sheet reporting, maintaining strict compliance with SOX and internal controls.

Beyond technical oversight, you will design and enhance processes to drive efficiency through automation and continuous improvement. A key part of your mission is to line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants, coordinating the wider management accounts team to foster a culture of growth and high performance. You will also support annual and quarterly budgeting cycles and assist with statutory year-end audits.

Working Environment

This position requires collaboration with a broad network of internal stakeholders, including Senior Management Accountants, Finance Business Partners, the UK Financial Controller, and the Financial Accounting & Tax Manager. You will also maintain key external relationships with statutory auditors, suppliers, and banking providers. The role involves expected travel to UK locations.
