As the leader of the Management Accounts function, you will oversee the full month-end close process to deliver accurate and timely reporting. This role is pivotal in driving strategic decision-making through performance and variance analysis, while managing the consolidation of the UK P&L for management reporting. You will ensure the integrity of balance sheet reporting, maintaining strict compliance with SOX and internal controls.
Beyond technical oversight, you will design and standardise processes to drive efficiency through automation and continuous improvement. A key part of your mission is to line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants, coordinating the wider management accounts team to support annual and quarterly budgeting cycles and statutory year-end audits.
You will collaborate closely with Senior Management Accountants, Finance Business Partners, the UK Financial Controller, the Financial Accounting & Tax Manager, and the Transactional Finance Team Manager. Externally, you will interface with statutory auditors, suppliers, and banking providers. This position requires a proactive mindset to navigate a matrix organisation and guide teams through organisational change.
Travel to UK locations should be expected as part of the role.
