As the leader of the Management Accounts function, you will oversee the full month-end close to deliver accurate and timely reporting. This role is pivotal in producing performance and variance analysis that offers strategic insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will manage the consolidation of the UK P&L for management reporting and oversee balance sheet reporting, ensuring strict accuracy and compliance with SOX and internal controls.
Beyond technical execution, you will design, enhance, and standardize processes, driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement. A key part of your mission is to line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants while coordinating the wider management accounts team. You will also support annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles, as well as statutory year-end audits and internal controls.
You will operate within a dynamic environment requiring strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Senior Management Accountants, Finance Business Partners, the UK Financial Controller, and the Financial Accounting & Tax Manager. Externally, you will maintain key relationships with statutory auditors, suppliers, and banking providers. The role involves regular travel to UK locations.
