About the Role
As a key member of GFL's HAZMAT Emergency Response Team, the HAZMAT Technician provides high-level technical expertise for emergency activations involving dangerous goods. This role supplements the current team to ensure immediate response to all emergency calls, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. The position is designed for individuals who can execute responses efficiently while upholding GFL's high standards of safety and quality of service.
The role demands exceptional skills in safety, planning, communication, organization, and time management. Technicians must be physically fit to wear chemical protective clothing and respiratory protection as required, and must be willing to work out of town from time to time to fulfill on-call requirements.

Requirements
