About the Role

As a Road Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo trailers to and from various long-distance destinations. This role involves coupling and uncoupling trailers from one another and from the tractor, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and setting up tractors for the road. While actual duties and schedules may vary depending on the terminal location, the core mission is to ensure safe and efficient transport across the network.

This position requires driving for extended periods and frequent travel (75% or more). Shift days and hours vary by location and may include days, nights, and weekends. You will operate a fleet of road tractors that average less than 18 months in age, featuring fully air-conditioned cabs, power steering, and a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.

Compensation and Benefits

Drivers are compensated at the Teamster Union Scale with an over-the-road mileage rate.
