About the Role

The Groundwork Helper supports the installation and maintenance of underground facilities. Working closely with crew members, you will ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This role is essential for laying the foundation of our projects, involving digging trenches, laying conduit, pulling cables, and assisting with job site setup and breakdown.\n This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold and rain. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, eager to learn, and able to follow instructions. While prior experience is a plus, comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided, including accredited on-site apprenticeships partnered with Hawkeye Community College and ABC of Iowa.
