About the Role

As a Groundskeeper at MVW, you will play a vital role in assisting our Owners and guests by ensuring the property grounds provide a pleasant and memorable vacation experience. Your work directly contributes to the visual appeal and safety of our resort, helping to create the backdrop for our guests' most cherished memories.

A typical day involves monitoring property grounds to ensure a pristine appearance through landscaping, garbage removal, and sweeping. You will be responsible for the maintenance of grills and grilling areas, as well as the removal of trash from resort grounds. Depending on the season, your duties may include snow removal and ice management. You will also visually inspect tools and equipment to identify defects and report any safety or engineering issues to the appropriate teams.

Beyond physical maintenance, you will be a key part of our guest experience. You are expected to welcome and greet guests, anticipating and addressing their needs with professionalism. You will interact with colleagues and guests promptly, contributing to team goals while strictly adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

Hiring Process

To become a Groundskeeper at MVW, candidates must be available to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends. The role requires the physical ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. You must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Candidates selected for this position may be subject to background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
