As a Pet Stylist, you will be the heart of our grooming salon, providing professional grooming services that ensure every pet looks and feels their best. This role is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to showcase your creativity, expertise, and genuine passion for animals in a dynamic environment.
Your day will involve performing expert-level grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. You will prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal in your care, monitoring them for signs of discomfort or illness while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction to pet parents. You will interact professionally with pet owners, offering custom recommendations on grooming maintenance and at-home care to promote the overall health of their pets.
Petco provides all the necessary supplies and state-of-the-art equipment, including bathing systems, kennels, tables, and dryers, allowing you to focus entirely on the craft. Whether you are a recent graduate of our Pet Stylist Apprentice program or an experienced professional, this role offers a clear path for growth, with opportunities to advance to Grooming Salon Leader, Grooming Mentor, or Grooming Instructor.
