About the Role
Grocery Leads are the key players in keeping their teams on track while providing unparalleled guest service. You will be the one staying on top of department records, processes, standards, and methods. To thrive in this position, you must be a dedicated team player who understands that success is only achieved when those around you are set up for it.
In this role, you will enable unparalleled guest service by leading the team by example, constantly striving to delight and surprise our guests, vendors, and stakeholders. You will respond to guest calls regarding product inquiries, special orders, and requests, while also scheduling team members, delegating work assignments, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback. Your day will involve attending and conducting daily team huddles, overseeing training, and writing department orders to monitor stocking and receiving.
You will take an active role in building the store's product assortment by developing and implementing merchandising plans using company guidelines. You will also track and reduce out-of-stocks, participate in physical inventories, and utilize tools to eliminate shrink. Safety is your top priority; you will ensure products and equipment are handled in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines for our Team Members, guests, and products.
