As an Assistant Athletic Coach, you will partner with the Head Coach to carry out the aims and objectives of the school's sports program. This role is vital for realizing individual and team success by instructing athletes in fundamentals, strategy, and physical training. You will exercise sound judgment to supervise athletes and assume leadership authority whenever needed, ensuring a safe and positive environment for student-athletes.
Your day-to-day involvement extends beyond the field. You will work to increase morale and cooperation within the athletic program, assist with administrative logistics like scheduling and travel, and ensure strict compliance with district policies and Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) regulations. Whether supervising athletes before, during, and after contests or collaborating with athletic trainers on injury prevention, you will be a key figure in the holistic development of the student-athletes.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
