A thriving health system in Memphis is seeking a gastroenterologist to join their suburban hospital, located just 15 minutes from downtown. This role addresses increasing patient demand and offers flexibility for either a general gastroenterologist or a GI hospitalist. The position provides a unique opportunity to be the first physician at this suburban location while enjoying the full support of an established group of six other GI physicians.
The hospital is equipped with three GI labs featuring ERCP availability. The team utilizes advanced equipment, including Olympus scopes, MediVator washers, Scope Buddy, and Irby argon gas and cauterizers for managing bleeds and ulcers. The call schedule is 1:3, with hospitalist admitting coverage unless the situation is urgent. J1 and H1B visas are accommodated for qualified candidates.
