About the Team
Lovelace Medical Group is part of the Lovelace Health System, a network committed to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the region since 1912. The system includes multiple facilities such as Lovelace Westside Hospital and Lovelace Women's Hospital, offering a comprehensive care environment. This position invites you to join a collaborative team of 6 Gastroenterologists, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Physician Assistant, and dedicated support staff.
About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Gastroenterologist to join our employed group practices at Lovelace Westside Hospital and Lovelace Women's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide clinical care across both locations, which are situated just 10 miles apart. Each hospital features a dedicated GI Lab with two procedure rooms and multiple recovery bays, alongside on-site outpatient clinics.
In this role, you will work within a supportive environment that includes advanced practitioner support. Your day will likely involve a mix of clinic and lab procedures, with a daily average of 20 clinic patients and 16 GI lab cases. Clinical office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The team utilizes Epic as its Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. While ERCP experience is preferred, it is not required for this position.
