About the Role
The Generator Technician is the backbone of our service operations, responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing residential generator systems. This is a hands-on technical role that blends expert diagnostics with direct customer interaction. You will travel daily to customer locations, often navigating diverse weather conditions to ensure critical systems are operational.
The day-to-day involves working with minimal supervision to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues. Beyond routine maintenance, you will be a key part of our emergency response team, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation. During major power outage events, you may be called upon for urgent service requests and occasional overnight travel to support installation efforts and restore power to communities in need.
