About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven leader to serve as General Manager. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you will be passionate about sales and dedicated to helping members achieve their health and wellness goals. In this role, you will work to improve sales and overall processes while developing a team of leaders to do the same. You and your team will create connections with prospective members, facilitate their membership journey, and ensure their success. An ideal candidate brings a passion for fitness, a drive for success, and a history of commitment in delivering results and motivating clients.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement necessary safety protocols
- check_circleCommunicate calmly with staff and members during emergencies to ensure safety and well-being
- check_circleAddress member concerns and complaints to ensure high-quality customer service and resolve issues promptly
- check_circleSupervise facility maintenance and cleanliness including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas
- check_circleProvide constructive performance feedback to staff to highlight strengths and areas for improvement
- check_circleSet and achieve membership and revenue goals while tracking KPIs and developing retention strategies
- check_circleHire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
Requirements
- verified2 years of sales management experience
- verified3-4 years of customer service experience
- verifiedPrior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- verifiedStrong communication skills
- verifiedExcellent MS Office skills
- verifiedMust successfully pass background check
- verifiedCPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- verifiedAbility to work in a gym setting
- verifiedAbility to access and operate the Company computer system
- verifiedAbility to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
