As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for making minor mechanical repairs without site supervision, ensuring the hospital facilities remain safe and functional. Your day-to-day involves responding to emergencies such as fire alarms and elevator problems, as well as attending to routine heating and air conditioning issues throughout the hospital.
You will handle minor plumbing problems, unblock drains, repair beds and other mechanical equipment, and replace light bulbs and batteries as needed. The role also includes performing preventative maintenance on hospital facilities equipment and completing the timely installation of wall-hung boards and assembly of minor equipment.
