The Gastroenterology program at MRMC is an established, physician-led practice featuring the largest Endo lab in the region. The team includes six Gastroenterologists supported by 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available 7 days a week, with APPs taking first call. The practice benefits from dedicated Anesthesia and CRNA support in both the Endo lab and OR, along with locum coverage for the majority of weekends and holidays. The group is currently expanding its physical footprint, enlarging the Endo Lab with advanced procedure-specific rooms and relocating the GI practice adjacent to the lab to enhance workflow and collaboration.

About the Role

McLeod Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) General Gastroenterologist to join this established practice in a fully employed position. This role offers a traditional GI schedule with a 1:7 call rotation, designed to provide an exceptional work-life balance. The position is based at a single hospital location, allowing for deep integration into the local community and healthcare system.

The incoming physician will join a high-volume practice with significant income potential, serving a patient base of 1.5 million people. The role includes access to state-of-the-art facilities, an efficient expanded GI lab, and a full spectrum of ancillary services. The practice operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with early closures on Fridays to further support a balanced lifestyle.
