Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's is home to a dynamic Department of Pediatrics and a pioneering Division of Gastroenterology. The division is a leader in pediatric care, notably establishing the first Advanced Endoscopy fellowship of its kind, which has successfully trained five fellows. Faculty members have access to the Voelker Clinical Research Center, providing robust support for those pursuing clinical research initiatives.
We are seeking a faculty member to join our team as a Full-time specialist in Motility Disorders within the Division of Gastroenterology. This position offers a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, combining a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient clinical care for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders, including emergency room consultations. Your clinical duties will extend to performing general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures, such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic interventions. Beyond patient care, you will play a vital role in the academic mission by supervising and educating medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology.
