This physician will join a well-established group of four general surgeons. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to develop a practice in a rapidly growing service area with the support of excellent local hospital staff and the clinician-educators and researchers that make up MUSC's Gastroenterology Division in downtown Charleston, SC.
Our Orangeburg facility anchors the northern region of the MUSC Health Charleston Division. As a physician at MUSC Health, you will manage diverse, high-acuity cases utilizing cutting-edge resources and expertise. The role offers a 1:4 call schedule and a strong referral base, with an endoscopy lab and office conveniently located at the hospital. You will work in a 100% outpatient setting with full support staff during Monday-Friday clinic hours, utilizing OR time equipped with da Vinci robots. The position includes multi-specialty support for patient care needs and offers the opportunity to teach residents.
