Day in the Life
You will operate in a dynamic, full-time environment requiring approximately 45 hours per week. The role involves leading and developing store personnel, communicating performance expectations, and implementing action plans to improve operating results. You will oversee the resolution of employee and customer concerns, interview candidates, and manage personnel decisions in collaboration with district managers.
Your day will include fostering a positive, collaborative working environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations, and maintaining a safe working environment by identifying hazards and promoting proper ergonomics. You will also prepare weekly schedules, manage inventory and cash handling procedures, and ensure store zone and merchandising standards are met. The role requires physical activity, including standing, moving between areas, and handling products up to 45 pounds, as well as operating various store equipment like floor scrubbers and pallet jacks.
Hiring Process & Travel
Full-Time Store Manager Trainees will train at multiple locations and must have the flexibility to travel within divisional requirements. The program is designed to prepare you for a leadership role where you will attend district operations calls, monthly one-to-ones, and various training sessions.

Requirements
