This private practice operates multiple offices across West Texas, specializing in comprehensive pain and injury treatment, sports medicine, orthopedic surgeries, and cartilage replacement. The dedicated team of physicians and physician assistants are recognized experts in the treatment and care of the musculoskeletal system.
As a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics, you will join a supportive environment where you treat patients for a wide range of orthopedic pain and injury conditions. The role involves performing therapeutic and trigger point injections, managing pre- and post-operative patient care, and handling medical decision-making, data gathering, and care transitions. You will also conduct reassessments, acute visits, test monitoring, consultations, and routine follow-ups.
Providers typically see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, though this schedule is flexible and can be adjusted based on patient needs. You will be fully supported by clinical assistants and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care.
A key feature of this position is the commitment to professional growth; the practice provides full training, meaning no prior orthopedic experience is required to succeed.
This is a full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) with a schedule designed for work-life balance: Monday through Friday, with no evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.
Primary work sites are located in Odessa and Midland, Texas. Additionally, the role includes a secondary work site in Lubbock, Texas, requiring presence there approximately four days per month.
