About the Role
This Flexible Multi-Site Security Officer position is designed for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments. Unlike traditional roles with a fixed location, FLEX Officers report directly to the Field Operations Supervisor and provide coverage across various client sites in the Greater Burlington, VT area. You will not have a single "home base"; instead, you will fill in at different locations as needed, working closely with client staff to ensure safety and security.
The role offers full-time hours with a schedule that changes week to week based on operational needs. Officers are categorized by their availability: "Day" FLEX officers cover short-term openings for 1st or 2nd shifts (6 am to 11 pm), while "Overnight" FLEX officers provide coverage during overnight hours (8 pm to 8 am). Shifts are typically 8 hours, though 4, 6, 10, or 12-hour shifts may occur. Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record to travel between multiple sites. While no prior security experience is necessary, applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a GED or High School Diploma. Upon accepting an offer of employment, Securitas will assist you in applying for the required VT Guard Card.
