Lap of Love is a veterinarian-founded and owned organization dedicated to providing an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice. We have built a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals who thrive in a culture of kindness. Our mission is to reconnect veterinarians with the heart of why they became a vet by offering a career path that balances professional fulfillment with personal freedom.
As an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in Westbury, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during one of life's most meaningful moments. This role honors your time and supports your well-being, allowing you to practice with purpose.
You will enjoy a flexible schedule of 2–5 days per week, with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments daily. This structure ensures more time with families and less time on paperwork. You will never practice alone; you will be supported by seasoned mentors, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. We offer comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, and "phone-a-friend" access to experienced leaders to ensure you always feel connected.
At Lap of Love, you don't have to choose between a fulfilling career and a full life. We prioritize your well-being with a wellness stipend, generous paid parental and bereavement leave, and a supportive environment where gratitude is felt at every appointment. Our goal is to help you live your best life, both professionally and personally.
Lap of Love is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background and strive to support the well-being of our entire team.
